He has allowed the confines of genre to have no sway on the sounds he creates, rather he pulls the best parts of genres like folk, beat, and electronic production, and makes something entirely unique.

J Biscuits - Broken Stringswe are back to reality. it’s time to refresh and move forward.. keep your mind high.
The Townhouses - Talk feat. Giorgio Tuma…a hypnotic new single. ‘Talk’ features guest vocals from Giorgio Tuma, and highlights Hannah’s skill in creating ambient soundscapes.
Blooper - Secret SongYou should all check it out because it’s really, really, really great!
Empress Of - Don’t Tell Me…Empress Of has more to offer than just mystery.
Toro Y Moi - So Many Details…at moments sounding like a next-level Cee Lo jam, other times sounding like a possessed Sega Genesis.
Flume - Sleepless feat. Jezzabell DoranIt’s just chopped and glitchy enough to keep you on your toes, but melodic enough to keep you nodding your head.
HAERTS - WingsThe group sports domesticated pop with a light and airy feel, full of harmonic focus and a keen attention to the band’s frontwoman’s voice. There’s something mesmerizing about her vocals. They have a hint of country to them, completely lacking vibrato, leading to a crystal pure sound.
TV Torso - Clear Lake StranglerNot sure if all that great music rubbed off on him or it was the other way around. His clear vision and buttoned down rock n’ roll is as ripped as those early Spoon records.
Torkelsen - HavetTorkelsen is a beat mystic from Norway, conjuring up intensely interesting sounds, some conventional, and some a little less conventional. Its twisted hip-hop roots pour over a naturalistic canvas, bringing beats and samples together with the visceral wonder and intricacy of flowing streams, and rocky mountains.
Brubeck pretty much introduced me to the world of jazz.
Because of him, I dove deep into the genre and discovered so many amazing musicians, and it has since become one of my favourites.
Below is the first Brubeck song I ever heard. I enjoy it just as much as I did the first time.
Rest in peace, Dave.
VACATION DAD - GRANDE GORDOIt’s like the chillest forest party and all the ferns are rocking out boss-style.
Nightlands - So Far So LongThe rhythm sections sounds buried under ground and hard-to-identify sounds flutter around the background (trumpet? synth?), while Hartley’s vocals and harmonies feel heavenly.
Cliffs - Persephone“Most of these songs were conceptualized while sitting indian style in my attic, with the lights out, with a guitar and some candles, messing around with chord progressions and TRYING to emulate sounds like Bowie, T Rex, Syd Barrett, and various other idols of mine.”
Stepson - Movie TitEl-P and Nick Diamonds of Islands/the Unicorns have joined forces for a project called Stepson. Here’s the first taste of the project, a song called “Movie Tit”, with vocals from Diamonds and characteristically El-P production.
Tea Leigh & Luke Reed - SurrenderMore gorgeous music from these wizards of pop. It’s like the sweetest kiss from the best John Hughes film (your choice, of course…).
