Father Sculptor - AristideThis brand new jam below builds on a very similar ‘basement’ atmosphere as “Frances”, and even though I cannot claim to have spent much of my youth in the 90′s, “Aristide” somehow brings back the melancholy of these years back to life; begging to be experienced live.
Halls - White ChalkA tender piano driven track, his unwavering and ringing as pure as ever, building on itself until a choir takes over. The song is minimal, and yet transcendent.
PLOY - AnywhereI realize this sound is abundant these days, but these two really stroke and mold this.
Bearhug - AngelineIt’s refreshing to hear earnest, heartfelt indie rock done so well, and this track is the perfect storm of the band’s best qualities.
Alpine - Seeing RedYou’re not going to want to miss this, from cover to cover. I had a hard time picking just one song to post…
French Kissing - Love Is Forpsychedelic surf pop from London, United Kingdom
YUNO - SunlightHis sound is bigger than ever, with massive choruses, and melodies that will never leave you.
Barny Carter - CastelThis is offset by the fractured beats and bubbling foreground. A really clever arrangement, mixing dance and hip hop.
Highasakite - Indian Summer…a luscious and quirky pop jam that will make your heart skip a beat.
Gold - Losing Your HairThese fellow Canadians, a 4-piece outfit, seem to effortlessly craft some of the catchiest reverb-drenched ‘jangly’ guitar-pop melodies to date…
Solice - Dirty KneesJust in case your midday midweek was going into neutral…NYC’s Solice kicks the some slide and shuffle. Future bass, trap, good vibes.
Future Dollars - Summer WeightThis jam is just so smooth, it’ll keep you sane.
ABADABAD - All The Bros Saycatchy beach pop from Allston, Massachusetts
Mac Demarco – My Kind Of WomanEvery time I get jaded and sob endlessly because I get caught up in the notion that modern rock and roll is hackneyed played out genre that will never inspire me again…a song like Mac Demarco‘s “My Kind Of Woman” rights the ship. I can smile again. Rock and roll forever.
Seatraffic - Put Away (Yalls Remix)It’s smooth and synthy as ever, with a perfectly unique tilt as we have come to love from Yalls.
IG88 - Trail Of Bread CrumbsWhere Clarke excels is represented in this track, highlighting a dreamy atmosphere with an undercurrent of melancholy and hopelessness.
ModeeL - Fading [an idea]“This song is a mixture of everything swirling around in my head at the moment. I love the idea of the environment/moment being captured in some sense and placed in a recording. I’ll be floating around northern California for a while, so get in touch if you’re around. Don’t forget to move, collaborate, and become a part of a community.~”
Slow Magic & Beat Culture - OnceBoth producers create a type of experimental pop that gracefully washes their listeners onto a dreamwave sanctuary.
Lord Huron - Time to RunSticking to their guns of the sensation of flying over the African savanna just recently flooded. You’re given this sense of the tropics but their sound is too wide open to be constricted by the thick dense jungle forest.
